Due to recent heavy rains, and the high levels of nuisance mosquitoes the Village is planning an insecticide application this evening after dusk, Thursday, August 8th weather conditions permitting. Individuals are advised to stay indoors and keep windows closed during this time.
As a reminder: always be diligent and take responsibility for spraying yourselves, family members and your own property to ward off mosquitoes. You are encouraged to call "Mosquito Hotline at 800-942-2555 to report standing water or stagnant unkept swimming pools. Clarke will test the standing water, if breeding mosquitoes are found, Clarke will place larvicide into the standing water and monitor.
